    A site with extensive links to Godard-related articles maintained by Glen W. Norton, a former Ph.D. candidate in cinema studies. A valuable resource for links and bibliographic information.
  • Claude Chabrol Project  
    Maintained by blogger Ray Young, this site features biographical information, a filmography, and the editor's transcriptions of historical interviews with Claude Chabrol. Includes a detailed bibliography.
  • DavidLean.com Bibliography  
    An online bibliography about director David Lean, based on the book David Lean: A Guide to References and Resources, by Louis Castelli. The "Writings" section is a bibliography, which even includes a few resources available online; the "Archives" section lists Lean-related materials available in many archives.
  • De Palma a la Mod  
    An unofficial Brian De Palma website, maintained by fans. A comprehensive list links to news articles and reviews from reputable sources. Recent articles can be found on the blog.
  • Digital Snow  
    The 2002 DVD-Rom Digital Snow showcases Michael Snow's body of work and has garnered several prizes. The Daniel Langlois Foundation, with permission from Michael Snow and Anarchive, adapted the DVD-Rom for this site. It features texts, drawings, and notes by the artist; texts on the artist; 2-D and 3-D animations and simulations; audio recordings: sound works and improvised music by Michael Snow and the group CCMC; film excerpts; photo reproductions of his work; bibliographies and directories; and a searchable database.

    An online exhibit documenting the relationship of Jews to film and television, including information on Jewish actors, directors, writers, businessmen, studio tycoons, and more. The exhibit covers specific works (Seinfeld, Your Show of Shows) and events (McCarthyism, the Holocaust) spanning from the invention of cinema to today.

    A website for aspiring screenwriters hosts this section of interviews with famous directors. The interviews are culled from various resources. The film clips section has video interviews and other material, including trailers edited by Jean-Luc Godard.
  • European Foundation of Joris Ivens  
    An authoritative site run by an independent foundation dedicated to spreading the work of Danish filmmaker Joris Ivens. Features a filmography and bibliography, and users can also search for items in the collection (located in the foundation's physical archive in Denmark).

    This site devoted to the Italian director features a filmography and bibliography. Each entry in the filmography includes a summary, still image, cast and crew list, and a list of selected quotations from critics. In Italian.
  • Guide to the Orson Welles Collection in the Lilly Library, Indiana University  
    Guide to the materials available in the Indiana University Library system pertaining to Orson Welles, including the huge "Welles Mss," which contains correspondence, tapes, films, radio recordings, and photographs. All of the materials are only available in the physical collection in Bloomington, IN, but this online guide provides the title of each item.
  • Ingmar Bergman Face to Face  
    A comprehensive source for information about Bergman's films, theatrical work, and writings, published by the Ingmar Bergman Foundation in Sweden. The site contains a detailed filmography, which features a synopsis, still images, interviews, and writings about each film, as well as a bibliography of Bergman's own writing.
