Reverse Shot Expands Partnership with Museum of the Moving Image
Museum of the Moving Image and the film magazine Reverse Shot are joining forces for an exciting new partnership. Starting this fall, Reverse Shot, an independently run online cinema journal founded in 2003, will become a web publication of the Museum. This new project solidifies a relationship that began with the screening series See It Big!, a collaboration between the Museum and Reverse Shot, now in its third year and one of the most consistently popular ongoing series in New York.
With a new look and location, Reverse Shot will continue its mission, under editors Michael Koresky and Jeff Reichert, to investigate contemporary cinema with reviews and interviews while also staying in dialogue with film history via symposiums and other special features, and will work in collaboration with the Museum's Chief Curator, David Schwartz, in covering the Museum's diverse programming. With the addition of the Museum's resources, Reverse Shot will dramatically expand its coverage into exciting new arenas plus increase production of exclusive video content. Stay tuned for more official announcements.
