Since its beginnings Views has premiered work of innovation, intensive craft and individual authenticity that explores the limits of moving-image making. Now in its 15th edition, its offers an expanded program of 24 different shows across four full days on two screens at the Walter Reade Theater and the Francesca Beale Theater.
Featured Works:
This year Views will present 104 new works by 80 some artists, 34 of whom are making their first appearance. Also for the first time it will be showing a series of new works specially selected to be presented in installation cycles each day on the Elinor Bunin Munroe Film Center's amphitheater plasma screen, the largest high-definition screen in existence.
