Ben Stiller will be honored by the Museum of the Moving Image at its annual black-tie Salute on Wednesday, November 12, 2008 at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York City.
One of the great talents of American entertainment, Ben Stiller is a memorable actor, an accomplished director and writer, an Emmy-Award winner, and an innovative producer. He is also a great collaborator, and has partnered with the finest directors and actors working in film today. The Museum salutes him for his unique and indelible impact on film, television, and stage.
Stiller is the Museum's 24th Salute honoree. He joins an exceptional group of past recipients: Tom Cruise, Billy Crystal, Robert De Niro, Richard Gere, Mel Gibson, Tom Hanks, Goldie Hawn, Dustin Hoffman, Ron Howard, Elia Kazan, Sidney Lumet, Steve Martin, Mike Nichols, Al Pacino, Sidney Poitier, Julia Roberts, Martin Scorsese, Will Smith, Steven Spielberg, James Stewart, John Travolta, Barbara Walters, and Robin Williams.
The Moving Image Salute raises funds to support the Museum's education programs, which serve over 32,000 intermediate and high school students each year.Featured Works:
